Wash Basket
The basket assembly consists of the balance ring,
stainless steel sidewall, basket bottom, and hub.
This comes as a complete assembly when ordered.
Basket Removal
1. Raise the top cover assembly, the remove the
pulsator.
2. Remove the hub nut (1-7/16 standard thread).
NOTE: When removing the hub nut, there is a
VTXDUHÀDWZDVKHUWKDWJRHVRYHUWKHVSOLQHVRQWKH
transmission shaft under the pulsator. This is what
the pulsator coupler rides on.
3. 2QFHWKHKXEQXWLVWDNHQRȺWKHFRQFDYHKXE
nut washer can be removed.
4. Remove the four #2 Philips head screws that
VHFXUHWKHWXEFRYHUWRWKHWXEDQGOLIWLWRȺRI
the tub.
5. Lift the basket from the tub.
