Belt Protector
The belt protector helps to protect the pulley and
belt against damage. It also gives protection to
the shaft assembly in case the washer is dropped
during shipping and or installation.
Belt Protector Removal
NOTE: The washer may be carefully placed on its
side. To prevent scratches to the surface of the
ZDVKHUDQGWKHÀRRUSODFHDWRZHORUEODQNHWRQ
WKHÀRRU
1. Remove the four 10 mm bolts (two on each side
of the protector) that attaches it to the platform.
2. Remove the protector.
Drive Pulleys
The belt is driven by the motor pulley which turns
the shaft assembly pulley to agitate the pulsator or
spin the basket assembly.
Shaft Assembly Pulley Removal
1. Remove the belt protector.
2. Remove the 14 mm nut securing the pulley to
the shaft.
NOTE: A screwdriver can be used to prevent the
pulley from turning while removing the nut.
