4.1.2 Example of Chain configuration
In this configuration, the master position is brought to the first slave in the chain. The encoder of the first slave
is repeated and brought to the next slave, which becomes the master, and so on.

The master drive contains one encoder card to connect the encoder and repeat signals A and B.
If the encoders of the slave motors are digital incremental, a single card with input for dual encoder and
repetition can be used in the slave drives. The drive motor encoder is connected to the first channel of the
cards. The signals repeated by the previous drive are connected to the second channel. The dual encoder
card repeats the signal of the encoder connected to the first channel.
The same configuration can be reproduced by using Fast Link communication. In this case, an encoder card
for feedback input and an EXP-FL-XCAN-ADV card to manage Fast Link communication have to be installed
on each drive.
