If stale, drain the tank and fill with fresh fuel. * Ensure the spark plug wire is connected to the spark plug and that the spark plug is in good condition (replace if bad). * Drain the gas tank and fill with fresh fuel if there is water in the gasoline. * Make sure that choke lever is in “no choke” position, if the engine is overchoking. * Check that the oil level is correct and fill the crankcase to the proper level if it is low. * Recharge or replace the battery if it is dead.
