Installation Guidelines for 50 Hz PowerPact™ 3
Exhaust Hazards
Adequate, unobstructed flow of cooling and
ventilating air is critical to correct generator
operation. Do not alter the installation or permit
even partial blockage of ventilation provisions, as
this can seriously affect safe operation of the
generator. The generator must be installed and
operated outdoors only.
Electrical Hazards
Fire Hazards
Asphyxiation. Running engines produce
carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless,
poisonous gas. Carbon monoxide, if not
avoided, will result in death or serious injury.

monoxide alarm indoors and installed according to
the manufacturer’s instructions. Failure to do so
