Flex Plate
The flex plate acts as a coupler between the engine
and the pump. It is bolted to the engine flywheel
and has a splined center to drive the pump.
Two different styles of flex plates have been used
in the production of your machine model.
Type "A" flex plates utilize a flex plate installed
onto the flywheel of the engine and a separate
coupler installed onto the pump splined shaft.
Type "B" flex plates combines the pump coupler,
as part of the flex plate, which is installed onto the
engine flywheel.
