FA50 Operation Manual 49
Take two calibrators, respectively test each one for 5 times on the
analyzer to get the average value, and then calculate according to
the following calibration formula:
Y=KX+B
Y stands for the calibrator’s target value
X stands for the calibrators’ average values tested on the reference
machine
Substitute these two groups of data into the formula to calculate the
calibration coefficient K and B. Enter the K value and B value into
the dialog box in Fig. 5-8-10, and click the button to return to
the main menu to save the calibration parameters.
Modify K or B according to formula Y=KX+B, among which, K refers
to the slope, B refers to the intercept. 0.000 K 9.999, 0 B
999.99 (for NT-proBNP: 0.000 K ≤ 9.999, 0 ≤ B 99999)
After modifying K or B, the test results changed accordingly. Each
item’s K or B value only works on this item.
Click the button to return to the main menu interface.
Unnecessary or incorrect calibration may lead to unreliable test
