Long warm-up time
Low voltage
Faulty sensor cable

Heater setting too cool
Excessive cold
Defective internal sensor or
electronics components
Increase voltage (minimum 24
VDC at the electronics) or
repair the Coax cable
Connect the fish directly to
the deck cable or cable
adapter
Disconnect sensor from
electronics and carefully
clean the pins and
sockets*
Adjust heater to 34.5 Kohms*
Normal – allow extra time for
sensor to warm up in
extremely cold environments
Return fish to Geometrics for
repair
Noisy magnetic field readings
Sensor not oriented correctly
