How
to
operate your
Gestetner
Stencil Duplicator
Check
that
Switch
is
fully lowered in its
'off'
position
and
Speed
Control
is
turned fully
counter
clockwise.
Connect
power plug
to
electrical outlet. Turn
Handle
outwards. Lower
Feedboard
and
Receiving Tray.
Check
that
Feed Lever
is
raised
and
turn
Handle
clockwise
to
ensure Feed mechanism
is
not
operating.
Ensure
that
the
Hand
Fe
ed
Lever
is
raised.
INKING
MACHINE
Open
Inker
Door.
Raise
Tube
Locking Lever.
Hold Ink
Tube
by the shoulder
and
remove cap.
NOTE:
DO
NOT
GRIP
TUBE.
Place crimped
end
in
Tube
Suppor
t
and
insert
Tube
Nozzle into
Tube
Holder.
Then
push
Tube
Locking Lever fully downwards.
Close
Inker
Door.
