B. Connect the terminal leads of the battery harness to your battery.
IMPORTANT
YOU NEED A 12V DEEP MARINE/AUTOMOTIVE BATTERY OR THE ABBT BATTERY BOX KIT.
SYSTEM WILL NOT OPERATE WITHOUT BATTERY INSTALLED AND CONNECTED AT ALL TIMES.
Connect the battery harness from the control box to the battery. Make sure to connect the red wire lead to the positive (+)
terminal, and connect the black wire lead to the negative (–) terminal.
Make sure RED WIRE CONNECTS TO BATTERY’S + TERMINAL. CONNECT FIRST
Make sure the BLACK WIRE CONNECTS TO BATTERY’S  TERMINAL.
IF USING THE ABBT BATTERY BOX ON A SOLAR INSTALLATION, WE RECOMMEND TWO BATTERIES BE
USED FOR EXTRA STORAGE CAPACITY.
