age 1: Washable pre-filter
It is made of primary efficiency filter cotton, 0.3 aluminum mesh and aluminum frame. It
removes large particles like human hair, pet hair, lint and dust, etc.
Stage 2: Germagic HEPA filter
Apart from removing 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 micron, such as pollen, cigarette
smoke, dust, mites and most airborne bacteria, Germagic HEPA Filter is a HEPA Filter coated
with Germagic antimicrobial coating. The active ingredient in Germagic coating that confers
its antimicrobial property is chlorine dioxide (ClO2), a gaseous disinfectant which the company
refers as POP (Prolonged Oxidizing Particles). Germagic coating also consist of inorganic-organic
microcapsules which solidify and encapsulate chlorine dioxide after applied onto HEPA filters,
allowing controlled-release of the gaseous germicide. The organic component of the encapsulation
prevents microbes from adhering onto filter surface. Thus, Germagic HEPA filters’ antimicrobial
property is achieved by “release-killing”, “contactkilling” and “anti-adhesion”. Lab test proves it can
kill Influenza A Viruses (A/Puetro Rico/8/1934,H1N1) >99.999%, Influenza B Virses (B/Lee/1940) >99%,
Hong Kong Flu (A/HK/68,H3N2) >99%, Enterovirus 71 (EV71) >99%, H1N1 Swine Flu or Novel Influenza A
(A/ Guangdong/GIRD02/2009,H1N1)>99.9% & MERS-CoV (EMC strain) 98.8%.
Stage 3: GAC filter
The activated carbon filter filters out formaldehyde, benzene, xylene, TVOC, smoke,
odours and harmful gases effectively.
Stage 4: Nano Crystalline
Nano Crystalline materials exhibit a wide array of remarkable chemical and physical properties, as
a result of their surface areas and their enhanced surface reactivity, they are highly effective in
adsorbing of toxic chemicals include formaldehyde, ammonia, benzene, methylbenzene,
methoxymethane. Compared to activated carbon, nano crystalline offersa better adsorption rate,
adsorption capacity, durability and a cleaner solution.
Stage 5: Cold catalyst filtration layer
Cold catalyst safely performs rapid oxidation of formaldehyde and other toxic substances include
benzene, ammonia and TVOC. It effectively decomposes them into harmless gas and water mol-
ecules. The activity of cold catalysts stays unchanged all through the filter’s service life.
Stage 6: Negative Ions
Optional on/off negative ions remove bacteria, airborne pollutants, particles and dust.
