Stopping and controlling
playback
Controlling message playback
depends on when you press the
relevant key.
During message playback:
Skipping back from the first mes-
sage means you skip to the last mes-
sage, skipping forward from the last
message means you skip to the first
message.
If playback is interrupted for over a
minute, the answering machine
returns to idle status.
Additional functions during
message playback
§Menu§ Press the display key. Play-
back stops.
Select the relevant function
using q:
Dial Number
Dial the number.
Continue
Continue message playback.
Handset Volume
Set the speaker or earpiece vol-
ume.
Copy to Dir.
Copy the caller's number to the
directory.
Delete all old
Delete all old messages.
Deleting an individual message
During playback:
Press key Q or display key Ü.
Accepting a call from the
answering machine
You can still accept a call even when
the answering machine has
answered a call or is recording:
§Menu§ ¤ Accept ¤ §OK§
If Call Screening has been deacti-
vated via the handset (see follow-
ing section "Activating/deactivating
call screening") or if Call Screening
is activated meaning the call can-
not be heard on the handset, you
can still accept the call by following
these steps:
u Press the talk key c
u Remove the handset from the
base/charger (if auto answer is
activated, ¢ page 45)
2 Stop playback. Press again to
resume.
