Operating the base on
the PABX
The following settings are only nec-
essary if your PABX requires them;
see the PABX user manual.
Changing the dialling mode
§Menu§ ¤ P#Q5#11
¤ Enter the digit for the dialling
mode: Q = tone dialling (DTMF);
1 = pulse dialling (PD) ¤

Temporarily switching to
tone dialling (DTMF)
If your PABX still operates with pulse
dialling (PD), but you need tone dial-
ling for a connection (e.g., to listen
to the network mailbox), you must
switch to tone dialling for the call.
Prerequisite: You are conducting a
call or have already dialled an exter-
nal number.
¤ Press the star key P.
Tone dialling is now activated for
this call only.
Setting recall
§Menu§ ¤ P#Q5#12
¤ Enter digits for recall:
Q =80ms; 1 = 100 ms;
2 = 120 ms; I = 400 ms;
4 = 250 ms; 5 = 300 ms;
L = 600 ms; M = 800 ms ¤
§OK§.
Changing the pause after line
seizure
You can set the length of the pause
inserted between pressing the talk
key c and transmitting the phone
number.

¤ Enter digit for the current
pause length:
1
= 1 second
2
= 3 seconds

= 7 seconds ¤ §OK§.
Changing the pause after recall key
§Menu§ ¤ P#Q5#14
¤ Enter digit for the current
pause length:
1
= 800 ms;
2 = 1600 ms;

= 3200 ms ¤ §OK§.
