ATTACHING/REMOVING SUCTION HEAD
Two suction head attachments have been provided with
the Sure-Grip™. Use the small suction head to change
smaller sized light bulbs such as R20, PAR 20, R16, PAR
16, and A19 bulbs. Use the large suction head to change
larger sized light bulbs such as R40, PAR 38-40, R30, and
PAR 30 bulbs. (Figure 4)
NOTE: Do Not use Sure-Grip™ on light bulbs with
exposed textured surfaces.
NOTE: Before initial use, wipe the Sure-Grip™ seal with a
damp cloth to remove any residue.
To attach suction head:
 Choose appropriate sized suction head for the bulb.
 Align groove in Sure-Grip™ system with groove in
bottom of suction head. (Figure 5)
 Snap suction head into place.
To remove suction head:
 Depress attachment release lock on Sure-Grip™
system.
 Remove suction head.
 Release attachment release lock.
REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control is used to activate the Sure-Grip™
system and motor drive. Use the hook-and-loop pad to
attach the remote control to the extension pole or motor
drive.
NOTE: The remote control buttons should face the
operator.
To attach the hook-and-loop pad to extension pole:
 Wipe pole with a clean cloth to remove any residue.
 Grip extension pole in a comfortable and operational
position.
 Remove backing from hook-and-loop pad and stick
pad in position just above where you are gripping the
pole.
NOTE: The hook-and-loop pad should be placed on the
pole in such a way as to allow comfortable operation of
the remote control buttons when the remote is attached to
the pad. The remote is designed to be used by the upper
hand on the pole. In this manner, you can see the buttons,
and the indicator light, showing that the unit is transmit-
ting. (Figure 6)
 Apply firm and even pressure to the pad, making sure
no air bubbles form underneath and the pad fully
adheres to the pole.
