peed of spraying:
Quantity sprayed per minute x distance
Quantity of spray per m

0.42 l x 2 m
min. x 0.06 l
= 14,00 m/min.
The figures on which this sample computation of the dosage
and the quantity of spray compound required per m
2
are based
have been assumed for that purpose.
When using the sample computation, the figures given by the
manufacturer of the respective spray compound must be used.
Spraying
Operate the pump lever five or six times from top to bot-
tom. This will fill the air chamber and the spray line with
spraying agent and produces the working pressure required
for spraying.
Press down the operating lever on the quick-acting valve to
start spraying. Spraying stops at once if you release the
operating lever.
The spraying pressure at the nozzle is influenced by the
speed of the pumping-up operation. This can
be read off from the pressure gauge. The optimum spray-
ing pressure is between 1.5 and 2.5 bar.
Aim to achieve even coverage of the object when spraying.
B
e aware of the direction of the wind. Do not spray into the
wind.
The optimum distance from the nozzle to the object being
sprayed is 40-50 cm.
Emptying and Maintenance
Thoroughly clean out the unit with water each time after it
has been used (rinse it out several times) and leave it open
to dry out.
Cleaning of the strainer tube in the quick-acting valve:
Loosen the locking nut from the trigger control valve and
take the hose nozzle with sieve from the trigger control
valve.
The gasket in the cover of the container and all other
mobile parts have to be lubricated regularly with resin and
acid-free grease.
It is recommended that you use GLORIA special activated
charcoal, item number 263.0000, for optimum cleaning of
the sprayer and to ensure that any residues of the spraying
agents are neutralized.
The spray pipe can be engaged in the receiver on the pump
lever. The nozzle must then be in the holder on the tank
base.
Only use original GLORIA spare parts for repairs.
Repairs should only be done by GLORIA service centres.
We reserve the right to make technical changes and improve-
ments without notice.
Malfunction
The hoseconnection tothesprayerdoes
not sealproperly
No liquid comes out of the nozzle after
pumping
The spray pattern of the nozzle is
unusual
Cause
The spray line has not been screwed in
tightly to the pump or the quick-acting
valve
The filter in the quick-acting valve or else
the spray nozzle is blocked
The nozzle is partially clogged
Remedy
Tighten up the hose connection.
Check the pressure in the unit with water
Clean the filter or the nozzle
Clean the filter or the nozzle
