10.1 Boiler Shutdown
Theboilersoftwareisdesignedto
recognisethepotentialforanoverheat
lockoutandwillshutdownbeforethis
happens.
• Torestarttheboiler,pressthereset
button,seechapter"Howtouseyour
appliance►Overview".
Iftheboilerfailstoresumenormal
operationandallexternalcontrolsare
callingforheat,thencallyourInstallation/
ServicingcompanyorGlow-wormservice.
10.2 Protecting against frost
Appliance Protecion
Incaseoftheriskoffrost:
• Makesurethattheelectricalandgas
supplytotheapplianceisturnedon.
• Foranabsenceofseveraldays,you
canleavetheappliancetorunnormally.
Theappliancehasabuiltinfrost
protectiondevicethatprotectstheboiler
fromfreezing.Withthegasandelectric
suppliesONandirrespectiveofanyroom
thermostatsetting,thefrostprotection
devicewilloperatethepumpwhenthe
temperatureoftheboilerwaterfalls
below8

C.Atimerisusedsothatthe
temperaturecanbecheckedperiodically.
After10minutesthepumpwillbestopped
ifthetemperatureishigherthan10

Incaseofprolongedabsence,where
powertothedwellingandtheboileris
switchedoff,contactyourInstallation/
ServicingcompanyorGlow-wormService
tohavetheinstallationdrainedortohave
theheatingcircuitprotectedbyaddingan
anti-freezespeciallydesignedforheating
systems.
CAUTION: Your domestic
water circuit (hot and cold) is
not protected by the boiler.
10.3 Condensate Drain Blockage
Asasafetyfeaturetheboilerwillstop
workingifthecondensatedrainbecomes
blocked.Duringfreezingconditionsthis
maybeduetotheformingoficeinthe
condensedrainexternaltothehouse.
• Releaseaniceblockagebytheuseof
warmclothsonthepipe.
Theboilershouldthenrestart.
