This document is a user manual for the Goodmans Waterproof Speaker, model 359732. It provides instructions for setup, operation, troubleshooting, and technical specifications for the device.
The Goodmans Waterproof Speaker is a portable audio device designed for use indoors and outdoors, featuring a built-in rechargeable battery and a waterproof grade of IPX7. This means it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The speaker supports Bluetooth connectivity for wireless audio streaming and also includes a Line-in function for wired connections.
Function Description:
The speaker serves as an audio output device, capable of playing music wirelessly via Bluetooth or through a wired connection using the Line-in function. It features integrated controls for power, mode selection, play/pause, volume adjustment, and track navigation. Additionally, it has a built-in microphone for handling calls when connected to a smartphone.

Usage Features:
Power ON/OFF:
- Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button (A) for 3 seconds to switch the speaker ON or OFF.
Call Handling:
- When receiving a call, hold the Power ON/OFF button (A) to refuse the call.
- Press the Power ON/OFF button (A) once to answer or end a call.
- Press the Power ON/OFF button (A) twice to redial the last call.
Mode Selection:
- Press the Mode Button (B) once to switch between Bluetooth and Line-in modes.
Music Playback Control:
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause Button (C) once to play or pause your music.
- Increase Volume / Next Track: Press the Increase volume / Next track button (D) to switch to the next track. Hold the button to increase the volume.
- Decrease Volume / Previous Track: Press the Decrease volume / Previous track button (E) to switch to the previous track. Hold the button to decrease the volume.
Hanging Hole:
- The speaker includes a Hanging hole (F) for a hanging bracket, allowing for convenient portability.
Indicator Light:
- An Indicator light (G) provides visual feedback on the speaker's status, such as charging (RED) or Bluetooth pairing (flashing blue).
Charging:
- The speaker has a built-in rechargeable battery. Before first use, it should be fully charged.
- To charge, open the silicone control panel cover on the back of the speaker.
- Connect the provided Micro USB charging cable to the Micro USB charging socket (J) on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB port on a computer or a 5V 1A USB wall charger (not included).
- The LED indicator will be RED while charging and will turn off when fully charged.
- A low battery warning alert will sound when the battery is low, indicating it needs recharging.
- Ensure the silicone cover is closed after charging to maintain waterproof integrity.
Bluetooth Pairing:
- Press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds until a prompt tone is heard and the LED indicator shows a blue flashing light.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for "GOODMANS WATERPROOF SPKR" in the list of available devices.
- Once successfully paired, a prompt tone will be heard.
- The speaker will remember previously paired devices and automatically reconnect when Bluetooth is active and in range.
- To pair with a new device, turn off the last Bluetooth device connected to the speaker, then search and select the pairing name with the new device.
Line-in Function:
- For devices without Bluetooth, the Line-in connection can be used.
- Open the silicone control panel cover on the back of the speaker. Note that the speaker will not be waterproof when the Line-in function is in use and the cover is open.
- Connect the provided Line-in cable to the LINE IN connection (I) on the speaker and the other end to your audio device.
- Select and play music on your device.
- When a Line-in cable is connected, the speaker will automatically disconnect from any Bluetooth devices.

Troubleshooting:
- Cannot pair with Bluetooth devices:
- Ensure the speaker is ON.
- Verify the Line-in cable is not connected.
- Check if the indicator LED is flashing blue. If not, it might be paired to another device; un-pair and try again.
- Cannot hear music:
- Ensure the speaker is ON.
- Adjust the volume control on your device.
- Cannot turn ON the speaker:
- Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
- Press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to turn it ON.
- Device keeps disconnecting from the speaker:
- Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
- If the Line-in cable is connected, remove it.
- Ensure your device is within 10 meters of the speaker.
