Please refer to p.41, “Vehicle Seat Belts”
to determine what type of vehicle seat
belt is in your vehicle.
1. Store rear-facing and forward-facing
LATCH belt as shown (a). Pull out on
handle on front of child restraint (b)
and adjust to rear-facing position 1 (c).
2. Place rear-facing on vehicle seat.
3. Thread vehicle seat belt through
rear-facing openings under the seat
pad and buckle belt (d). DO NOT pass vehicle belt over top of the seat pad.
Press down firmly in center of child restraint to compress vehicle seat cushion
while tightening vehicle seat belt (e).
LATCH belts MUST be stored when
using vehicle seat belt to install child
restraint.
