Why does the Graco N22DT0 motor only run at 50 psi (345 kpa, 3.4 bar) or greater?
    • M
      Mary FowlerSep 5, 2025
If the motor only runs at 50 psi or greater, it is likely due to a leaking flat gasket (46-253476). Replace the flat gaskets (46-253476), and apply grease to the gasket surface prior to re-assembly.

What to do if my Graco N22DT0 Engine motor is stuck at the top or bottom stroke of the piston?
    • S
      sandersonNov 23, 2025
If the motor is stuck, it could be due to several reasons: * Air pressure is set below 20 psi (140 kpa, 1.4 bar). Verify that the air pressure is 20 psi (140 kpa, 1.4 bar) or greater. * The poppet pin seat has debris or is damaged on the top poppet valve (12-NXT100). Clean or replace the poppet valve (12-NXT100). Note: The problem poppet is typically opposite from where the motor stops, because at the last changeover this poppet stuck open, preventing the next changeover. * Binding/sticking of the air valve cup/carriage (108-NXT138) or piston valve (119-NXT142). Remove the air valve cup/carriage (108-NXT138) and/or piston valve (119-NXT142), check for nicks or burrs, grease, and reassemble. Replace the air valve cup/carriage (108-NXT138) or piston valve (119-NXT142). * Binding/st...

What causes air pressure to vary 5 - 10 psi from the set point on a Graco N22DT0?
    • L
      Lisa JenningsSep 18, 2025
If the air pressure varies 5 - 10 psi from the set point, the pilot valve (17-NXT095) bleed orifice may be obstructed. Rebuild it with regulator repair kit (17-NXT095).

Why doesn't the Graco Engine runaway error code clear?
    • T
      terrifarleySep 16, 2025
The runaway error code may not clear because the solenoid pin will not retract. Replace the solenoid (140-NXT403).

Why does the Graco Engine motor run at 20 - 50 psi (140-345 kPa, 1.4-3.4 bar), but stops if input air pressure is 50 psi (345 kpa, 3.4 bar) or greater?
    • Z
      zbrewerSep 14, 2025
If the motor runs at 20 - 50 psi but stops if the input air pressure is 50 psi or greater, it's because two bumpers (59-277366) are installed below the #4 main piston. Remove the extra bumper (59-277366).

What causes continuous air exhausting from the muffler on up and down strokes in Graco N22DT0 Engine?
    • J
      Jeffrey RomeroSep 12, 2025
Continuous air exhausting from the muffler on up and down strokes is caused by the de-icing control being open. Close the de-icing control with the knob or a flat blade screwdriver.

What causes air continuously exhausting from the motor shaft on my Graco N22DT0?
    • R
      Rachel RivasSep 12, 2025
Continuous air exhausting from the motor shaft indicates a damaged air motor shaft seal. Replace the seals with NXT200 (2200), NXT300 (3400), or NXT600 (6500) motor seal kit.

What to do if the Graco Engine motor runs below 10 psi air input pressure?
    • M
Mr. Jason Tucker DVMSep 9, 2025
If the motor runs below 10 psi air input pressure, it may be due to a missing or damaged spring loaded detent (113-NXT145). Replace the spring loaded detent (113-NXT145). Note: 20 psi (140 kpa, 1.4 bar) or greater is needed to run the NXT air motor.

What causes air pressure to jump to line input pressure from the set point on a Graco N22DT0?
    • C
      Cameron BurgessSep 7, 2025
If the air pressure jumps to the line input pressure from the set point, it indicates that the formed gasket (17-15G439) is leaking. Replace the gasket (3-15G439) or seal repair kit (NXT096).

Why is the Graco N22DT0 Engine runaway error code displayed and the pump running faster than the set limit?
    • A
      Angel JonesAug 20, 2025
The runaway error code appears and the pump runs faster than the limit because of an exhausted fluid supply, increased air pressure, increased fluid output, or a set point that is too low. To resolve this, first verify that the air pressure has been removed. Then, wait 30 seconds and press reset.
