Easily recognized on the figure, the rudder rod is hung into the outermost hole of the
rudder arm. This setting is optimal for simple flight but if emphasis is to be put on
agile aerobatic characteristics then hook the rod in one of the more inboard holes.
The figure shows the rudder coupling's length adjustment and how to hold the rod
securely with flat pliers.
Main landing gear with wheel spats
The figure shows the prepared parts of the main landing gear.
Remove the locking screw in the wheel spat then turn the wheel, together with the
wheel spat, onto the wheel axle. When the wheel spat is turned in securely and the
wheel still turns freely, fix the wheel spat in place on the landing gear bow with the
locking screw.
