Why is my Gree Air Conditioner not cooling properly?
    • R
      richard21Jul 26, 2025
If your Gree Air Conditioner isn't cooling well, several factors could be at play. Ensure the filter is clean, as a dirty filter restricts airflow. Reduce the heat load in the room by minimizing the number of people or heat-generating devices. Check that all doors and windows are closed to prevent warm air from entering. Clear any obstructions from the indoor unit's inlet and outlet. Make sure the set temperature isn't too high; lower it for better cooling. Finally, insufficient refrigerant due to leaks can cause poor cooling, so check refrigerant levels and recharge if needed.

How to troubleshoot a Gree Air Conditioner that won't start?
    • C
      Calvin TrujilloJul 31, 2025
If your Gree Air Conditioner isn't starting, first, check if the power supply is properly connected. Second, examine the circuit breaker to ensure it hasn't tripped due to a leakage of electricity. Also, make sure the input voltage meets the required level. If none of these steps work, the main PC-board may be defective, and you should contact an authorized service center for repair.

      Dr. Michael SmithAug 6, 2025
If your Gree Air Conditioner's heating isn't effective, start by cleaning or replacing the dirty filter. Ensure all doors and windows are closed to prevent heat loss. If the set temperature is too low, increase it. Also, check for refrigerant leaks and recharge if necessary, as insufficient refrigerant can cause poor heating.

What to do if my Gree GMV-ND140PHS/B-T stops running after a short time?
    • J
      Jasmine WongAug 13, 2025
If your Gree Air Conditioner stops after running for a while, it might be because the inlet or outlet of the outdoor (ODU) or indoor unit (IDU) are blocked. Remove any obstacles that are blocking these to ensure proper airflow.

Why doesn't the indoor fan start up on my Gree GMV-ND140PHS/B-T during heating?
    • J
      Joseph HouseAug 18, 2025
When heating starts, the indoor unit (IDU) fan might not operate immediately. This is to prevent cool air from being delivered until the heat exchange warms up; allow time for the heat exchange to warm up. Also, during defrosting, the IDU fan may stop because the system switches to cooling mode to prevent cool air from being delivered; the fan will resume operating after defrosting is complete.
