Ensure you are within the 8m control range.

You may also want to check the temperature setting, fan speed and wind direction using the remote controller. Ensure that doors and windows are closed, and curtains or louvers are drawn to block direct sunlight. Reduce the number of heat sources in the room, and clean the filter if it's dirty.
