  If your GreenWorks Pressure Washer motor won't start, ensure the On/Off switch is in the “ON” ( | ) position and squeeze the gun trigger. Check that the power cord is properly plugged in. If using an extension cord, replace it with a 25’ (7.6 m) 14 AWG cord or a 50’ (15 m) 12 AWG cord. Try a different electrical outlet to ensure adequate power supply. Also, allow the unit to cool and restart it if the circuit breaker has tripped.

  If your GreenWorks Pressure Washer motor buzzes but fails to run, verify that only the pressure washer is running on the circuit. Turn the unit “OFF”, squeeze the trigger on the spray wand to release pressure, then turn the unit “ON”. Unplug any extension cords and plug the unit directly into the outlet. Disconnect the water supply and power on for 2 to 3 seconds, repeating a couple of times or until the motor starts.

Check the garden hose for any kinks, leaks, or blockages that may be restricting the water supply, and fully open the water source. Add the desired pressure tip to the end of the wand. Remove and rinse the water intake filter in warm water. Ensure hoses and fittings are airtight, and purge the pump by squeezing the trigger gun until a steady flow of water emerges through the spray tip. Correctly install the detergent bottle or suction tube, and dilute the detergent if it is too thick.
