  There are several reasons why your GreenWorks Trimmer might stop while cutting. Ensure the guard is attached to the machine; if not, remove the battery pack and attach it. Check that you're using the correct cutting line (0.080" (2.0 mm) diameter nylon line). Also, grass might be winding around the motor shaft or trimmer head, so stop the machine, remove the battery pack, and clear any grass. The motor could be overloaded; if so, remove the trimmer head from the grass, and it should recover. When cutting, move the trimmer head in and out of the grass, removing no more than 8" per pass. The battery pack or machine might be too hot; cool them down. Ensure the battery pack is properly connected.
