Placing Sander
To place the sander in a permanent location:
1. With an assistant's help, lift the sander out of
the box and move it to your predetermined
location.
The Model
G0459 is a
heavy machine (
139 lbs.).
DO NOT over-exert your

self while unpacking or
moving your machine—
get assistance.

To mount the drum sander to a bench top:
1.
Place the sander on a bench top capable
of holding approximately 140 lbs. plus the
weight of the workpiece
. Make sure the sur-
face is flat and stable.
2. Drill four
1
⁄4" holes on the bench, using the
holes in the base as a guide.
3. Using a
1
⁄2" wrench, bolt the base to the
bench top
with
5
⁄16" lag bolts and flat washers
as shown in
Figure 5.
