What causes sanding belt not to tension correctly on my Grizzly G0581?
    • S
      Sarah HowellSep 23, 2025
Low air pressure can be a cause, so adjust the air pressure to 75 PSI at the primary regulator. Air leaks in the system can also cause this, so inspect all hoses and connections for leaking air; use water on suspected areas to detect bubbles.

    zmcmillanAug 23, 2025
Why does the sanding belt on my Grizzly G0581 keep clogging quickly?
    • C
      Christopher GuerreroAug 23, 2025
A sanding belt might clog quickly if the grit is too small for the job, so replace it with a coarser grit. Also, reduce the depth of cut, or allow the wood to dry out if it's too moist.

What to do if my Grizzly G0581 Sander motor stalls and blows fuses?
    • L
      Leonard LopezAug 26, 2025
If the motor stalls, inspect the motor connections for loose or shorted terminals or worn insulation. Ensure that you correct any low voltage conditions. Install correct fuses or circuit breakers. Reduce the load on the motor.

    James KellyAug 27, 2025
Why does my Grizzly G0581 motor overheat?
    • T
      tyler23Aug 27, 2025

What to do if my Grizzly G0581 Sander motor won't start and the fuses blow?
    • A
      Ashley ColeAug 28, 2025

What to do if emergency brake stops slow on Grizzly Sander?
    • D
      Dana OlsonSep 18, 2025
Adjust air pressure to 75 PSI if it's incorrect. Find and fix any air leaks in the system. Clean the brake rotor with automotive brake parts cleaner if it's contaminated with oil. Replace the brake pads if they are worn out.
  • E
    Erika HowardSep 14, 2025
What causes lines across the width of a workpiece on my Grizzly G0581?
    • R
      Raven JensenSep 14, 2025
Lines across the width of the workpiece can be caused by a sanding belt seam that is open or damaged, so repair or replace the sanding belt.

What causes my Grizzly G0581 conveyor belt to slip?
    • V
      vfisherSep 16, 2025
The conveyor rollers may have incorrect tension, so adjust them to place more tension on the workpiece. The conveyor rollers may also be contaminated with dirt or dust, so clean them.
