What to do if my Grizzly G1015 Sander does not start?
- JJack ObrienJul 26, 2025
If your Grizzly Sander doesn't start or a breaker trips, it could be due to several reasons. First, make sure the power supply is switched on and has the correct voltage. Check the plug and receptacle for good contacts and correct wiring. A faulty start capacitor may also be the cause, so test and replace if necessary. If the wall circuit breaker tripped, ensure the circuit size is correct and replace any weak breakers. Inspect the wiring for any broken, disconnected, or corroded wires. The motor ON/OFF button or the centrifugal switch could also be at fault and may need replacement. Finally, the motor itself could be faulty and may require testing, repair, or replacement.
