Questions and Answers

    John RandolphAug 12, 2025
Why does the sanding paper clog too quickly on my Grizzly G1066 Sander?
    • R
      Robin HernandezAug 12, 2025
If the sanding paper on your Grizzly Sander clogs too quickly, it might be due to several reasons: the sanding paper grit being too fine, removing too much material at once, a dirty board surface, insufficient dust collection, oily stock, excessive moisture in the board, or worn-out sandpaper. To address this, apply PAM® cooking spray to the sandpaper. This will reduce clogging and improve the effectiveness of cleaning sticks.

    Allison TrevinoAug 16, 2025
Why does my Grizzly G1066 Sander leave 'snipe' on the board ends?
    • K
      Kristy AtkinsonAug 16, 2025
If you notice consistently noticeable 'snipe' (more material removed from the ends of the board than the middle) when using your Grizzly Sander, this may be due to the lack of outfeed support, incorrect pressure roller spring tension, or incorrect drum height in relation to pressure rollers.

    John ThorntonAug 19, 2025
Why does my Grizzly Sander leave shiny spots on the sanded surface?
    • H
      heather65Aug 20, 2025

    • D
      Daniel RichardsAug 23, 2025
If the conveyor belt of your Grizzly Sander doesn't run smoothly or stops completely, it could be due to incorrect conveyor belt tension or incorrect belt tracking.
  • J
    James JohnsonAug 27, 2025
Why is my Grizzly Sander producing uneven thickness on the board?
    • A
      Ashley VasquezAug 27, 2025
If you're experiencing uneven thickness on the right and left side of the board with your Grizzly Sander, it could be because the drums are not parallel to the conveyor table or due to uneven wear of the sanding paper.

    Jeremy JonesAug 31, 2025
What causes marks on the sanded surface from my Grizzly G1066 Sander?
    • N
      Nicole WebbAug 31, 2025
If you notice marks on the sanded surface when using your Grizzly Sander, it may be due to partial damage to the sanding paper or paper overlapped on edges.
  • T
    Thomas JacksonSep 4, 2025
Why does my Grizzly Sander cause rounding on the edges?
    • L
      Linda GalvanSep 4, 2025
If rounding occurs on the edges while using the Grizzly Sander, it may be because too much material is removed at once.
  • J
    jmillerSep 8, 2025
Why is the sandpaper tearing on my Grizzly Sander?
    • S
      Samantha BanksSep 8, 2025
The manual extract does not provide the suggested solution. The sandpaper tearing on your Grizzly Sander could be due to drums not perpendicular to feed direction, drums not parallel to conveyor table, sandpaper edges overlapped, tape slipping, or removing too much material at once.
