GROUND DRIVE
Ground wheel drive can be engaged or dis-
engaged by lifting the lever lock ring ’B’ located
under the lever knob ’A and shifting the lever
fully forward to engage ground drive or backwards
to disengage. When the Ground Drive Lever is in
the rearward neutral position the main ground-
drive wheels are free to turn for wheeling or
manoeuvring the machine. The ground drive is set
independently of the cutter drive.
BLADE ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
The blade angle on the TMC26 remains
constant throughout the cutting depth range
and seldom needs to be adjusted.
If a flatter or steeper blade cutting angle is
desired it is adjusted as follows;
Tilt the machine forward to rest on it’s nose.
Slacken the four blade angle clamp bolts ’A’ and
slide the slotted caster wheel mounting bracket ‘C’
up to decrease and down to increase the blade
angle as indicated on scale ’B’ and pointer ‘D’
Ensuring that the caster-wheel ’E’ is square
re-tighten the four clamp bolts ‘A’ firmly.
