Scope of these instructions
Electrical installation
Carry out the electrical connection according to local
regulations.
Check that the supply voltage and frequency
correspond to the values stated on the nameplate.
Taking CU 3X2, CU 3X4 out of operation
Maintenance
EMC-correct installation
If the CU 3X2, CU 3X4 is bought as separate
components, the customer must ensure EMC-correct
installation. Signal cables and motor cables must be
electrically separated. If in doubt, please contact
Grundfos.
Disposal
This product or parts of it must be disposed of in an
environmentally sound way:
1. Use the public or private waste collection service.
2. If this is not possible, contact the nearest
Grundfos company or service workshop.
Warning
Prior to installation, read the installation
and operating instructions for the CU 3X2,
CU 3X4 control unit. Installation and
operation must comply with local
regulations and accepted codes of good
practice.

Warning
Before making any electrical connections,
make sure that the power supply has been
switched off and that it cannot be
accidentally switched on.
Each pump must be connected to a
separate motor protector or similar
protection.
Warning
The terminals are only separated with
basic insulation. Therefore, do not connect
a PELV circuit to a terminal adjacent to a
terminal connected to live voltage.
PELV circuits and live wires must be
separated with double or reinforced
insulation.
Warning
The conductors in front of the main switch
are still energised.
Lock the main switch with a padlock to
ensure that it cannot be accidentally
switched on.

Before starting work on the pumps, make
sure that the power supply has been
switched off.
