9.1 MS6000P
The following three warnings are only valid for
MS6000P/SPE pump sets.
If a flow of water unintendedly goes through a non-
energized pump, there is a risk that the moving parts
of the pump and the motor will start rotating, thereby
generating voltage over the terminals. The size of
the voltage depends on the speed of rotation.
Consequently, the motor terminals must be
considered as live until proven otherwise.
If Grundfos is requested to service a pump, Grundfos
must be contacted with details about the pumped
liquid, etc. before the pump is returned for service.
Otherwise, Grundfos can refuse to accept the pump
for service.
Possible costs of returning the pump are paid by the
customer.
10. Fault finding

must never be handled by anyone with
a pacemaker.

- Keep the surroundings of the
dismantled rotor free of magnetic
objects, and be careful when placing the
rotor on a magnetic surface.

Death or serious personal injury
- Before starting any work on the product,
make sure that motor cable ends are
not live.
- Make sure that the power supply cannot
be accidentally switched on.
