5. Starting up the product

‐ Do not use the pump in swimming
pools, garden ponds or similar places if
there are people in the water.
The pump may be run briefly to check the
direction of rotation without being sub-
merged in the pumped liquid.
1. Before starting the pump, check that the inlet
strainer is fitted to the pump and submerged in the
pumped liquid.
2. Open the isolating valve, if fitted, and check the
level switch setting.
