Automatic or manual time zone
The television automatically detects the local difference to Green-
wich Mean Time (the selected channel provides a time signal). You
can set the local time difference yourself if the time is not detected or
is not the same as your local time.
1 Select »Time Settings« with » Λ « or » V « and press »OK« to
confirm.
2 In the »Time Adjustment« menu item, press » « or » « to select
»Manual«.
3 Select »Time Zone« with » Λ « or » V « (in Germany: + 1.00 hour).
4 Press » « or » « to set the time zone.
5 Select »Dayligth Saving« line with » Λ « or » V «.
Press » « or » « to select »Yes« or »No«.
6 Press »EXIT« to end the setting.
Parental control
You can protect the television from misuse by children by making it
only accessible using a PIN code.
1 Select »Parental Control« with » Λ « or » V « and press »OK« to
confirm.
2 Enter the PIN code »0000« with »1 ... 0«.
3 In the »Parental Control« menu item, press » « or » « to select
»On«.
4 With parental control activated, press » Λ « or » V « to select
»Parental Rating« and press » « or » « to select »None«,
»Child«, »Youth« or »Adult«.
5 Press »EXIT« to end the setting.
Changing the PIN code
Instead of the default code »0000«, you can enter a personal code,
which you must remember.
1 Select »Parental Control« with » Λ « or » V « and press »OK« to
confirm.
2 Enter the PIN code »0000« with »1 ... 0«.
3 Select »Change PIN« with » Λ « or » V « and press »OK« to
confirm.
4 Enter your four-digit personal PIN code with »1 ... 0«.
5 Enter your personal PIN code again with »1 ... 0« and press
»OK« to confirm.
