Check the input
Problem of input from the main
Check the machine is on the charger
position
Polarity reversal or clamp in short
circuit.
Check if the fuses are not melted.
The battery to charge is faulty.
Check with a voltmeter the voltage
on the terminals. If the voltage rises
instantly at more than 2.5V per
element, the battery may be
damaged or sulphated.
Voltage error (12V or 24V)
Check the red cable is linked to the
+ terminal of your Prostart (12 or
24V)
The pointer of the
machine ammeter
does not oscillate.
Following on a too intensive use,
your machine is off due to
thermal cut :
Wait for few minutes (5 to 10
minutes) to cool down the machine.
The battery is highly discharged
Keep the charge while keeping the
adjustments to the minimum.
Voltage error (12V or 24V)
Check the red cable is linked to the
+ terminal of your Prostart (12 or
24V)
The ammeter indicates
more than 20A
whereas the selector
adjustment is at the
minimum.
Some battery elements are in
short-circuit.
Change the battery
You are starting on the “charge”
mode of the machine.
Imperatively place the selector on
the “start” position whereas it could
highly damaged your machine.
Rearm the circuit breaker.
The machine trips
A 12V battery is charged on the
24V output.
Connect the red cable on the +12 V
output of the Prostart.
