BEAM STYLE LIFTING
MINI MILL
Haas Automation does not provide a lifting kit for the Mini Mill. It is up to the Riggers you select to provide the
means to lift and position your Mini Mill. Refer to the figure below for lifting points; beware of the areas high-
lighted.
- Attach the lifting chain and hooks to the lifting points as shown in the figure below, ensuring that
the chain does not come in contact with any part of the machine's sheet metal enclosure or
electrical cables.
* Spreader bars and spacer blocks are not provided.
When lifting the machine, slowly pull up on the chains until taut, then lift the machine ensuring the machine
remains balanced.
Before lifting the machine, ensure the machine is prepared for shipping as noted earlier in the VF Operators
Manual, Shipping the VMC section.
