  The thermal overload protection may have been activated. In this case, attempt to run the cool down cycle following the instructions displayed on the blender. Also, this blender is equipped with motor overload protection. If the motor stops due to overheating, unplug it and allow it to cool down for 15 minutes before plugging it back in to resume normal operation.
