What to do if my HAMPTON BAY 51750 wobbles?
    • S
      Sharon FisherAug 12, 2025
If your HAMPTON BAY Fan wobbles, start by checking that all blade and blade arm screws are secure. Most fan wobble problems are caused when blade levels are unequal. To check this level, select a point on the ceiling above the tip of one of the blades. Measure the distance from a point on the center of each blade to the point on the ceiling, repeating for each blade. Any measurement deviation should be within 1/8 inch. If the fan continues to wobble after running for ten minutes, please contact Customer Service for a balancing kit.

    • K
      Kyle BakerNov 1, 2025
There could be several reasons why your HAMPTON BAY Fan is noisy. Here are a few things you can check: * Make sure all motor housing screws are snug. * Ensure the screws that attach the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight. * Verify the wire nut connections are not rattling against each other or the interior wall of the switch housing. * Allow a 24-hour 'breaking in' period, as most noises associated with a new fan disappear during this time. * If you are using the Ceiling Fan light kit, ensure the screws securing the glassware are tight and that the light bulbs are also secure. * Confirm the canopy is a short distance from the ceiling and not touching it. * Check that your outlet box is secure and rubber isolator pads were used between the mounting plate and outlet ...
