Remove the decorative canopy bottom cover
from the canopy by turning the cover counter
clockwise. (Figure 5)
Remove the mounting bracket from the canopy
by removing the 1 of 2 screws from the bottom
of the mounting bracket and loosening the
other one a half turn from the screw head.
Next, turn the canopy counter clockwise to
removing the mounting bracket from the
canopy. (Figure 5)
Remove the clevis pin, cotter pin and set
screws from the scroll coupling. (Figure 6)
Route the wires and safety cable exiting from
the decorative scroll through the upper
coupling cover, canopy cover, canopy and then
through the ball/downrod assembly. (Figure 6)
Align the holes at the bottom of the downrod
with the holes in the scroll coupling on top of
the decorative scroll (Figure 6). Carefully
insert the clevis pin through the holes in the
collar and downrod. Be careful not to jam the
clevis pin against the wiring inside the
downrod. Insert the cotter pin through the hole
near the end of the clevis pin until it snaps into
its locked position, as noted in the circle inset
of Fig. 6.
6. Tighten two set screws firmly on the coupling
located at top of the decorative scroll. Slip the
upper coupling cover onto the coupling, The
decorative scroll assembly is now completed.

Scroll Assembly
Installing the Downrod
Secure the decorative scroll to the scroll
coupling with two screws provided, repeat the
procedure with the remaining decorative
scrolls. (Figure 4)
Remove the screw from the bottom of scroll
coupling, installing the bottom decorative
coupling cover onto the scroll coupling and
securing with the screw provided. (Figure 4)
For packaging purpose, the decorative scroll is
packed disassembled, proceed the following steps
for proper decorative scroll assembly:
