Function Description:

The Hampton Bay Titan 52-inch ceiling fan is primarily designed to circulate air within a room, offering both cooling in warmer months and improved heat distribution in cooler months. It features a reversible motor, allowing the blades to rotate in either direction: counter-clockwise for a downward airflow that creates a cooling effect, and clockwise for an upward airflow that helps distribute warm air without creating a direct draft. The fan is controlled by a remote, which allows for power on/off, speed adjustment (six speeds), light on/off (if applicable), light dimming (if applicable), and fan direction control. It also includes a "Comfort Breeze™" function that simulates a natural breeze by varying fan speed, and a timer function for automatic shut-off after 2, 4, or 8 hours. The fan can be installed with or without a light kit (light kit not included in the base package).

The fan operates on a 120-Volt supply. Key performance specifications vary by speed setting:

Low Speed: 0.08 Amps, 4 Watts, 60 RPM, 1715 CFM (cubic feet per minute), 5.05 lbs (2.29 kg) net weight, 0.06 m³ (2.33 cu.ft.) cube feet.
Medium Speed: 0.18 Amps, 12 Watts, 124 RPM, 3685 CFM, 11.02 lbs (5 kg) net weight, 2.33 cu.ft. cube feet.
High Speed: 0.35 Amps, 25 Watts, 170 RPM, 5206 CFM. The fan motor assembly (E) is designed to support blades (G) with a 52-inch span. The mounting bracket (A) is designed for installation on a UL-listed outlet box marked "Acceptable for Fan Support of 35 lbs (15.9 kg) or less." For sloped ceilings, the maximum angle allowable is 20° away from horizontal. The fan is equipped with a safety tab to prevent falling if the setscrew becomes loose.

Usage Features:

Remote Control Operation: The fan is operated via a wireless remote control (I) with a cradle (L) for wall mounting. The remote includes buttons for ALL ON/OFF, LED speed indicator, Fan On/Off, Light On/Off, Increases fan speed, Decreases fan speed, Comfort Breeze™, Timer, and Fan direction.
Speed Settings: Six fan speeds are available, from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest).
Light Control: If a light kit is installed, the remote allows for turning the light on/off and dimming the light level.
Comfort Breeze™: This feature cycles through various fan speeds to create a natural breeze effect. It can be activated and canceled via the remote.
Timer Function: The fan can be set to turn off automatically after 2, 4, or 8 hours.
Reversible Motor: The fan direction can be changed using the remote. The "Summer button" sets the fan to rotate counter-clockwise for a cooling effect, while the "Winter button" sets it to rotate clockwise for an upward airflow to redistribute warm air.
Multiple Remote Pairing: The fan can be controlled by up to three remote controls. For additional remotes, specific instructions are provided for pairing.
Installation Flexibility: The fan supports standard ceiling mount installations and can accommodate sloped ceilings up to 20 degrees. It can be installed with or without an optional light kit.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning: Regular cleaning is recommended to maintain the fan's appearance and performance. This includes dusting the blades and motor housing. The manual advises against using water to clean the motor or other electrical parts. A soft brush or lint-free cloth is recommended for cleaning.
Tightening Screws: Periodically, it is recommended to check and tighten all screws (blade attachment screws, mounting bracket screws, etc.) to ensure secure operation and prevent wobbling.
Lubrication: The fan motor is permanently lubricated and does not require additional lubrication.
