What to do if my Hanseatic Refrigerator doesn’t cool sufficiently?
    • M
      Matthew PhillipsAug 3, 2025
If your Hanseatic Refrigerator isn’t cooling well enough, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the temperature control knob is set correctly. Also, check that the door is tightly closed and the door seal is completely tight. The appliance should not be near any heat source. Only put cooled foods into the refrigerator, and avoid adding more than 4 kg of goods at once. If there’s a thick layer of ice in the freezer compartment, defrost it. Ensure the ambient temperature is suitable for the climate category of your refrigerator. If the compressor seems defective, set the temperature control knob to “7”. If it doesn't switch on within an hour, please contact our service centre.

Why is my Hanseatic BCD 310CA2W Refrigerator making a noise?
    • D
      Dan MorrisAug 8, 2025
Operating noises in your Hanseatic Refrigerator are usually normal. The noise could be the refrigeration unit running, refrigerant flowing through the pipes, or the motor switching on or off. To address disturbing noises, check that the appliance is stable. Also, remove any objects from the appliance or debris from the rear.

      John TranAug 12, 2025
If the compressor and interior lighting of your Hanseatic Refrigerator are off, the socket may not have power. Check by connecting another appliance. Also, the mains plug might not be tight, so check its tightness.

What to do if water has accumulated in the fridge compartment at the bottom of my Hanseatic Refrigerator?
    • M
      Micheal StoneAug 18, 2025
If water accumulates at the bottom of your Hanseatic Refrigerator's fridge compartment, the defrost water drain below the lower vegetable drawer is likely blocked. Unblock it using the enclosed cleaning rod.

    Monique BartonAug 23, 2025
Why is the compressor not running in my Hanseatic BCD 310CA2W, but the interior lighting is on?
    • A
      Adriana PowellAug 23, 2025
If the compressor in your Hanseatic Refrigerator isn't running but the interior light is on, it could be because the desired temperature has been reached, and further cooling isn't required. When the inside temperature rises, the compressor will automatically switch on. Also, if the appliance was recently repositioned, it requires 2 hours to allow the refrigerant to settle.

Why is my Hanseatic Refrigerator cooling too quickly?
    • M
      Mr. John GonzalesAug 28, 2025
If your Hanseatic Refrigerator is cooling too quickly, the temperature control knob might be set too high. Turn down the temperature control knob (see page GB-10).
