Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Causes Likely Solutions
No grid voltage, bulb
does not light.
Unit not plugged in. Plug in unit.
Grid has voltage,
bulb does not light.
1. Bad bulb.
2. Bulb not inserted into
socket correctly.
3. Replace Bulb.
4. Properly seat the bulb with its
four pins into the bulb socket.
Constant zapping
from the grid.
Debris in grid allowing shorting of grid. Clean the grid as described in
“Troubleshooting” on page 7.
Low or weak zapping. Low insect population density. Confirm low insect population density
by examining area for insect remains.
Move unit to new location as needed.
Follow all safety precautions whenever diagnosing or servicing the tool.
Disconnect power supply before service.
