Connecting Speakers to

1. Starting with either
LEFT
or
RIGHT
pair
of
connecto
rs
, push firmly 1n
on
the plastic head of each connector,
revealing
an
opening. Insert one bare
conductor
at
th
e end of
ea
ch of
th
e
le
ngths of wire you've prepared in
to
each
connector. Release the
co
nnector.
Ea
ch
conductor should be locked firml y
in
place in
it
s own connector .
Ta
ke
the end
of
this wire and connect the bare
conductors
to
the
two ter
mi
nals
of
one of
your speakers. Now

his is important)

which connec

ack) on
the 730, and
to

ch speaker

rminal,
the coded side
of
the wire is connected

wire. The

your

Be
certain [very
im

rta
nt
] all
th
ese connections are tight
and that all
th
e strands of
th
e wires are
fir
mly seated in
th
e co
nn
ectors of
th
e 730
an
d under the terminal s of yo
ur
speaker
systems. Any loose
st
rands of wrre could
touch other termina
ls
and cause short
circ
ui
ts, which might cause the speaker
circuit brea
ke
r to op
en
.

l describe how
to
check this by ear
when the other connections are
completed and your system is operating.
Note
: Two equal lengths of wire are
suggested to prevent
an
y imbalance
in
the
sy
stem , even
if
one speaker will be
quite close
to
the 730.
