Toroutethecordtotherightside:
Cutthewire-tiesloopingthecordtotheleft
Re-routethecordalongthetopofthesteelangleanddown
therightside.
Re-tie(notsuppliedbyHarman)thewirethroughthenotches
providedinthemountingframe.Thendowntherightsiderail.
Donotremoveormovethecordretainer,itismadetoreach
boththerightandleftsides.
Nothing can extend
beyond this face to
the back side.

Withthethreewingpiecescompleted,thecordretainermust
beboltedtothebottomrearofthewing.Eitherleftexit(shown
ing.22)orrightexit.
Atthebottomrearedgeoftherightandleftwingthereisa
smallradiusindentforthecordtoexitbetweenthewingand
thereplaceface.
6. Youmustnowdecidewhethertoinstalltheroomsensor
asawallsensororasareturnairsensor.Harmanhighly
recommendsthattheroomsensorbeinstalled.Ifyouare
installingtheroomsensorasawallsensor,thelongblack
2wirecablemustbewire-tiedtothepowercord.Thiswire
islongenoughtoreachtheendofthepowercordsothe
installercanreachpastthehearthtothelocationwhere
theextensionwire(18/2thermostatwire,notsuppliedby
Harman)canbesplicedtogotothewalllocationchosen
fortheroomsensor.

Theoptionalwingextensionismadeforreplaceopenings
which are larger than the cast wing. The standard wing
extensionis48"wideby34"high.
Customsizedwingextensionscanbepurchasedfromyour
dealer,foranyreplaceopeningslargerthanthestandard
wingextensionarea.
Theseoptionalwingextensionswillhavea1/2inchreturn
bendasshowning.20.Customoversizedwingextensions
with a radius top can be ordered with a radius of your
choosing.TheseradiuswingextensionsWILLNOThavea
returnbend,althoughtheywillbemadeofthickermetalto
reducewarpage.
