RECLINE
Place the child restraint in the desired
seang posion (see “Choosing an
appropriate vehicle seat locaon”).
Pull the red recline handle found
underneath the front of the seat
and adjust the base to the desired
angle. Release the red handle when
done and gently push on the seat
to ensure it is rmly engaged. An
audible ‘click’ will ensure it is locked
in place ❶.
WHEN INSTALLING THE SEAT
REAR-FACING, THE SEAT MUST BE
IN THE FULLY RECLINED POSITION
(POSITION #1) INDICATED IN
BLUE ❷.
WHEN INSTALLING THE SEAT
FORWARD-FACING, THE SEAT
CAN BE ADJUSTED IN POSITIONS
#2, #3, OR #4 INDICATED IN RED

THAT ALLOWS FOR THE BEST AND
TIGHTEST INSTALLATION.

YOUR CHILD RESTRAINT RECLINES TO ENSURE
PROPER INSTALLATION INTO YOUR VEHICLE. THE
CHILD RESTRAINT MUST BE INSTALLED SO THAT ALL
OF ITS SURFACE AREA IS IN CONTACT WITH YOUR
VEHICLE SEAT.
