Chapter 3: Operation
Manual-high slew rate: for DA-DH6802+ and DA-H6802+; or
for non-reclockable input signal in DA-DHR6802+ and
DA-HR6802+ modules
Manual-low slew rate: for DA-DH6802+ and DA-H6802+; or for
non-reclockable input signal in DA-DHR6802+ and DA-HR6802+
modules
J4/J5 jumper settings are not required for DA-DSR6802+, DA-
DS6802+ modules.
Understanding Parameter Types
Most module parameters are adjustable, and can be set using either
card-edge controls (see “Understanding Jumper Controls” on page 20)
or a software application (see Setting Remotely Controlled
Parameters” on page 24). However, there are some parameters that are
considered “read-only” and cannot be changed. Indicated by the
abbreviation “[RO],” these parameters provide status and feedback
information only.
Adjustable Parameters
Two types of adjustable parameters can be changed using the card-edge
controls:
Numerical parameters—which require you to select a value within
a numerical range
Selectable parameters—which require you to select a specific
option
Both numerical and selectable parameter changes are immediate.
Use the available 6800+ software controls (serial
/ local or Ethernet /
remote network) to view and monitor parameter selections.
Read-Only Parameters
Many of the read-only parameters are also represented by LEDs on the
front of the modules card edge. See Figure 3-2 on page 27 and
Figure 3-3 on page 28 for the location of these LEDs.
