The LCD TEST will fill the entire LCD screen with a pattern. Keep pressing ENT
to advance to the next pattern inspecting the screen at each pattern.
The SW VALIDATION test may require the Maintenance Password to be entered.
It then warns the operator the test may take up to 30 minutes to complete. At
VALIDATE FILE SYSTEM, select YES to begin the software validation test.
Either SW VALIDATION PASSED or a failure message will be displayed.
During the KEYPAD TEST, a description of the button pressed will be displayed.
The only 2 buttons that are not displayed are the CLR and PPT.
The MEMORY TEST warns the operator that the radio will be reset. Press ENT
then select YES to continue with the test. The test takes about 20 to 30 seconds
to complete. PASSED or FAILED will be displayed. If failed, run the SELF TEST
for more information.
