8.2.2 Maintenance plan
In new and generally overhauled engines, after 25 operating hours:
▪ Change the engine oil
▪ Check the tappet clearance and adjust if necessary
▪ Check the screw connections (do not retighten the screws for attaching
the cylinder head)
In case of a low number of operating hours, change the engine oil no later
than every 12 months, regardless of the actual number of operating hours.
The degree of contamination of the fuel, the care with which refueling is per-
formed and the soiling on the inside of the fuel tank are decisive in determin-
ing the change interval of the fuel prefilter and the main fuel filter.
