8.2.4 Checking the cooling air area
Safety notes
CAUTION
Danger of burns.
There is a danger of burns when working on a hot engine.
▪ Let the engine cool before maintenance.
CAUTION
Danger of engine damage from overheating.
The engine temperature display (option) lights up as soon as the
engine becomes impermissibly hot.
▪ Switch off the engine immediately and eliminate the cause.
NOTICE
In case of heavy contamination, shorten the maintenance inter-
vals accordingly (see chapter 8.2.2 Maintenance plan, page 51).
