Why won't the engine start or stop on my Haulotte Boom Lifts?
    • M
      Martin FryeAug 9, 2025
If the engine of your Haulotte Boom Lift cannot be started or stopped, there are several potential causes: * The fuel tank may be empty; if so, fill the tank. * The electric battery may be low; if so, recharge the battery or batteries. * The E-stop push-buttons may be pushed in; if so, pull the E-stop buttons. * There may be poor cable/battery terminal contact; if so, loosen and clean the terminals. * A clogged air filter indicator might be on; in this case, replace the air filter cartridge. * The charge indicator bulb might be burnt out; if so, replace the bulb. * Faulty printed circuit fuses (ground control box) might be the issue; in this case, replace the fuse(s). * A faulty engine safety relay KP1 might be the issue; if so, replace the relay(s).
