WARNING - PREVENT ACCIDENTS: The following procedures should be performed with the aid of an assistant.
1. Lower all cutterheads to rest on the ground. Apply the parking brake, switch off the engine and remove the ignition key.
2. Connect up suitable lifting equipment (capable of lifting 350 kg safely) and arrange the lifting straps as shown in
fig. 8. Carefully raise the cab and lower into position such that the front mounting points are correctly aligned. Refer
- fig. 9. Connect up the front mountings and tighten the bolts to 190 Nm torque.
3. Lower the cab main assembly and allow it to pivot about the front mountings until it is aligned with the rear
mountings. Reassemble the mounting bolts and ensure that the mount retainers (items 36) are correctly located. Refer
- fig. 10. Tighten the mounting bolts to 75 Nm torque.
4. Disconnect the lifting equipment.
5. Reassemble the wiring connectors inside the rear of the cab.
